When creating your size chart from a template, you will see a header with a sequence of letter size labels.
If you are not using the standard letter sizing system, then you will need to enter your own sizes in the “Display sizes” line.
The letter labels (XS, S, M, ...) are part of our standard system and will allow us to ensure the quality of size recommendations.
When inputting your own sizes, you will therefore "map" them to the standard letter sizes references.
